Steps to Display Your WiFi Password

  1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator

    • Type cmd in the search bar, right-click, and select Run as Administrator.
  2. Enter the Command

    • Type the following command and hit Enter:
      netsh wlan export profile folder=c:\ key=clear
    • This command saves the WiFi profiles with passwords in plain text format on your C drive.
  3. Locate and View the WiFi Password

    • Go to the C drive, open the .xml file for the network you need, and find your password between the <keyMaterial> and </keyMaterial> tags.

That’s it! You’ve now accessed your WiFi password with ease.
